We have a 2002 Dodge Caravan, SE 4 Cylinder with 175,000 miles. The vehicle died while driving, and won't restart. I have power to the lights, radio, and fans, but it does not turn over or even try to start. I hear no relays or solenoids energizing. I have no alarm or tilt steering in the vehicle. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Take a hard look at all the maxi fuses or fusible links if it has any. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

So, apparently it's not that... Any other ideas? Someone had told me that there were issues with the "TIPM and with the B+ feed to the PCM causing a no response condition from the PCM and it being dead." and to "try wiggling the connectors on the bottom of the TIPM." Does that sound reasonable? Also, is that the same as the IPM? Thanks for taking the time!

Sure, that's a possibility, along with about 2 dozen more possibilities. The circuits needs to be troubleshooted using a wiring diagram and I can tell you from experience, you don't want to attempt this yourself unless you happen to be an electronic engineer or diagnostic tech..

LOL! I am neither of those things... I'm not doing the repair, but I'm not entirely sure the guy doing them is 100% either, so I'm trying to get advice. I do know that trying to track down an issue with the wiring diagram is not easy (tried before... and wanted to rip my hair out...) Thanks!

This one is worse than most because so many things are built into the IPDM.
