My 2002 Ford f150 2x4 super crew lariat runs rough every time it rains hard. I've narrowed down to the second cylinder from the back on the passenger side, it fills up with water. So I take the coil out and blow the water out of the spark plug hole, put it back together and it runs fine again. My question is, how is the water getting in there and how do I remedy the problem.

Look at the cowling seal to see if it is ripped or missing. The cylinder you are talking about should be directly under the edge of the firewall. If all ot that is good, we have gotten a small flat piece of rubber and attached it to cowling to divert the water somewhere else. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
