2002 Mazda Protege5 will not start Sign In

When I am driving and I stop completely at a stop sign or red light and then proceed to accelerate, the car chokes up and sometimes dies.

Also, sometimes while driving the brakes would randomly not work. The peddle does not go to the floor when that happens, it actually won't go down. Today, when I started the car it did start then instantly died, it did that twice. After that though it wouldn't even turnover. All the lights work as well as the remote lock so idk if it could be the battery. Some advice would be much appreciated!!!

You have rattled off about 3 totally different problems here and we can only address one per question or it gets way too confusing to follow. This question will be for the hesitation problem only.

Have the codes read and post any stored codes here.

What type of advise are you looking for?

Is this something your are going to try to fix yourself or are you just trying to get an idea of whats going on before you take it in?

Either way as HT has already said, the codes would be a good place to start so get the codes read & post the exact code numbers here...
