Well my new used vehicle has failed me!!! It has been a good one so far. I have only had it about 5 months. It has 24,000 miles. I drove it home from work and stopped at the store. When I returned and turned the key ...nothing... I could hear a very slight click. I tried having it jumped this only made a fast repeated clicking sound. Battery Terminals are good tight and clean. I know this could probably be many things but it was quite sudden. The local Mechanic said I could try reseating the read wire at the starter. I did but still the same results...no start...not even turning over. Any Ideas would be greatlly appreciated. Have a great day. Joe D.

Generally bad connections give you a single click and things quit working. The repeated clicking is generally a low battery. Try two sets of jumper cables and test the battery itself - they can short inside without warning. It should read just above 12V. If less it needs checking out. It's my opinion that a battery is only good for 3-4 years no matter what they say. A multimeter is a great tool to have if you don't. You can guess at the battery's age by looking on driver's door jam at what month the car was made and a 2002 is probably original. Good luck,
