2002 chevy impala trouble starting

I have a 2002 chevy impala runs great most of the time. Lately when trying to start it almost starts then dies sometimes starts no problem. last week it died while my wife was driving down the road, after several tries it started up with no more shut downs.
somes times there is a slight shutter when starting up

1st thing would be to have the codes read & see if there are any stored codes....
When it's acting up you are going to what to check for spark & fuel, see which one you are losing....
