2.2L s10 pick up started running rough and low power upon exeleration. replaced fuel filter and fuel pump. this made change, so moved on to sperkplugs. found sparkplugs with excessive gap. replaced plugs. this made truck run 98 percent better. but still has stumble/ hesitation when leaving redlight. somtimes dieing completey. but runs fine once you get past initial stumble. acts just like a carburator with bad accelerator pump. any ideas?

Any trouble codes stored? If so, what are the numbers. How are the plug wires? They wear out also. If you do replace wires inspect ignition coils' towers for corrosion. If towers are corroded, replace the coil that is infected. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
