I am looking to buy a "new" vehicle....and found what seems to be a good deal on a 2003 Chrysler Sebring Coupe (2dr). I'm not sure of the engine size unfortunately...the vehicle was locked and I was not able to take a closer look. I do know that there is what was described as security headlight issues, or security issues with the headlights. Do you know of any such problems with this particular car? If so, how much of a pain the butt would I be looking at to get it fixed (and is it costly)? I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm getting in to before I make a commitment to buy! We are a one-vehicle family and my husband is disabled, so I need to make sure it's not going to be a bee's nest we are buying!! lol I've tried searching on the internet, but have had no luck. Even if this isn't a known issue with the car, do you think it would be difficult to fix? I appreciate all your help!! Thanks!

looking2buy; I had never heard of the 'security headlight issue', either. I searched my database and couldn't find anything. First, don't even think about buying this vehicle until it is thoroughly inspected by a knowledgable tech. Security system problems can be expensive to repair, if that's the problem. Also, make certain that the vehicle will pass your state's emission standards PRIOR to purchase if everything else checks out okay. If the seller won't allow you to do this, don't walk, RUN. Remember, if it seems too good to be true, it usually is. Loren SW Washington
