This is my work van. It's seen its fair amount of use and abuse, sitting at 620,000km. After some time of simple driving, a weird resistance starts to occurr, and seemingly from the passenger side. The resistance continues and worsens, starting to shake the van visciously and makes the brake pedal stiffer than usual, till I stop. Once I stop for a bit, I drive off as nothing happened. In very little use in the past few months. I believe the shaking may be caused due to warped rotors but, I assume that would only be the cause if the pads we're sticking, and seeing as I don't press the brake it seems odd. Prior I thought heavy braking caused it but I don't believe that to be the case. About a year ago I changed the driver side wheel bearing, and not the passenger. Any help would be great seeing as all mechanics are closed and I have work Tuesday!! 🙏🙏

You do have a brake dragging problem but the warped rotors were not the cause, they were the result. The shaking is the result of the severe heat built up from the dragging brakes and that resulted in severely overheating the rotors, causing the warpage. The first thing you need to do is determine the root cause of the dragging brake. It could be any number of causes like Seizing caliper frozen caliper slides internally ruptured flex hose bad or contaminated master cylinder Once you have determined the cause, then you will have to replace all the related components to correct all the damage. That would include Pads rotors calipers (possibly) hoses ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

? Need if for Tuesday? OK, at least just look at which wheel has the active fault some just thru the wheels if a type you can see the discolored rotor. The comment of a "stiff brake pedal" and it can sort of quit it after a stop suggests a hose as mentioned can do that along with other already said, It's less likely to be wheel bearing mentioned one done is fine IMO as IDK a time/mile relationship usually if not both flooded under water now another whole list would be trouble. Find out which one, at least hope you get some clues try bleeding both and hope it buys a day for more help for YOU parts or mechanics back to work seems you really don't want a ton of this mixed in with a day off for lots people or quick parts?? Lots of kilometers on the thing really makes anything possible if not well tracked what done when all that much use, T
