post locked   2003 Toyota Sequoia crank no start after ignition switch repair

My 2003 Toyota Sequoia Limited 4X4, automatic transmission,300.000 miles.
The key had difficulty turning. I had to drill out the pin that held the switch in because the key would not turn to place to press in the pin. While ignition switch was being repaired by locksmith shop, I replaced the valve cover gaskets. Following all repairs, and ignition switch replaced back into the vehicle, it will only crank, not start. I have a video on youtub to show this...https://youtube.com/shorts/ei6W1TfaKQU
I have no signal going to the fuel injectors. I checked with my noid light test set. I bought a new ECU which is behind the glovebox. I also bought a ecu/immobilizer unit which is behind and to the right of the instrument cluster. Following this I did the OBD2 reader port pin4 to pin13 reset. Still have no signal to the injectors. I have no way to know if the ECU's that I purchased are working. I purchased from ebay to save money. Was told they were good by sellers. Still no signal to injectors. Vehicle started perfectly before all the repairs. What to do next?

You just through a whole bunch of money away for no reason.

It sounds like you are immobilizer locked out. You need a professional level scan tool capable of reading security codes. You will probably have to put the old modules back in to find out what when wrong in the first place. I expect the immobilizer is not reading the key.

Yes, that is why I posted the video on YouTube. Did you see it? The security light flashes the entire time as it is cranking. I thought the reason for the pin4 to 13 jump for 30 minutes was to sync the key, immobilizer, and ECU back together. I did put the original ECU and ECU/immobilizer back in and was refunded for the others so I am not out any money. Why did the sync process not work? Do I need to purchase some type of coder to sync them? I'm sure that is the problem. How do I sync them?

First, we do not answer question via private message. This is a public forum. I received the same message from you 8 times. It went through the first time.

OK, I don't know where you got the idea you can simply jump a couple pins and resolve the security issues. It's not that simple.

There is a procedure to register new keys if you still have a working registered master key but it doesn't sound like you do. When you don't have a registered master key you must change the engine and ECT ECU.

I am currently out of the country and traveling today so I will be offline most of the day.
