Hi, 2 months ago I purchased a 03 crown Vic police interceptor at auction. It's in great shape with 135k miles. I've put about 4k miles on it.
Problem: 4 times the engine has cut out while driving.
What happens is that it's always at low speed, after my foot is off the gas, when I hit the gas there is nothing. It lasts for about a second or 2 and then it goes again. No stumbling or sputtering when it cuts out. Just nothing. It always happens when going around a corner or today I was braking down a hill. When i got the gas it was dead. I'm not sure if the engine shuts down completley(no tach and my radio is always on) but their is no hesitation or misfiring.
Any ideas?

Intermittent problems like that are very hard to diagnose because tests have to be performed at the exact instant the problem occurs.
To start off you need to scan for any stored trouble codes. There may be some hints there.
