2003 ford ranger, starting trouble Sign In

just replaced battery, altenator and serpentine belt and truck still dies every night after being parked all night must jump it in the morning, i have noticed that as i am driving the heater blower will start off blowing out full force and hot, but after a while it dies down and gets cold, had the car put in the shop and diagnosed and they say it comes up fine, completely confused any help will be appreciated.

I think there are two problems going on with this. Heat output will go cold when the vehicle overheats strange as that sounds??!!

The battery drain needs to be isolated to which circuit it is. Pull fuses on items that are always empowered with or without the keys and you at least know which one to chase down. That can be checked by disconnecting battery and with a test light between neg post and battery should stay off with everything off. If not -- pull fuses one by one and when it shuts of -- that's the problem area. Make sure any hood light is disabled too, T

thank you found out it was the a/c relay switch was bad
