2004 LR Discovery steering failure

I have a 2004 Land rover discovery. The problem it is having is that the steering will jerk hard to the right or left for no apparent reason. It is very bad at high speeds and hard to keep in a straight line. At low speeds it will randomly jerk to the right or left every so often. It is becoming dangerous to drive.

Your last sentence says it all. You really need to take this in & have it checked out... This sounds dangerous (to you or someone else).
