2004 Trailblazer cruise control

This question will certainly demonstrate my lack of automotive knowledge and I beg your indulgence.
The cruise control on my 2004 Trailblazer stopped working. My first reaction was to check the fuse but the owner's manual and fuse box cover diagram don't show the fuse for cruise control. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

You can test out fuses without removing them with a test light.
Also: Most cruise controls are made to shut down with any braking action and a fault with your brake lights might be involved -- just a guess, T
