2004 silverado no start

Guy brought a 2004 chevy silverado 2 door short bed 4x4 v8, truck will crank, but has no fuel, beat on the tank no results, fuel pump relay clicks, has power to relay, unable to find a fuel pump fuse but did check both pcm fuses, still has no power to the 4 pin connector on the fuel pump

Nowhere in this question do you state that you tested for power and ground arriving at the fuel pump. Why not?

No power to fuel pump, i have found a red and black wire near the under hood fuse box one end of the wires have u shaped terminals with inline fuse links but the other ends are cut, any ideas where they are supposed to go?

How are you testing that pump? You DO realize it only powers for 2 seconds when the key is first turned on?
