I turned of my car last week and visited family for a couple hours. Car was giving me zero trouble. As i returned to leave i tried cranking it and got no response. all the dash light were lighted all seemed normal except it would not turn over.no sound no clicking . So i tried jump starting with no success. took starter off had it tested it tested fine . cleaned all connections. traced all lines, swapped battery with a new one. with still no response. Since then ive noticed the car will not stay in park. it shifts through the gears without having your foot on the brake. even started trying to start it in neutral. still nothing..Does anyone think it could be a linkage problem? It seems it should stay in park until the key is turned on. maybe im mistaken.anyone who can help me i will gladly appreciate it..Thanks in advance. my cell number is Phone number deleted

It should have brake shift interlock. That shouldn't cause a no crank if that system isn't functioning. Did the brake shift interlock problem start the same time your no crank started? Does this have an aftermarket alarm or remote start system installed? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
