2004 toyota sienna van TRUNK FLOORBOARD WET Sign In

I have noticed that the trunk floorboard of my 2004 Toyota Sienna van stays wet. I've checked the gasket around the trunk and it is good. I thought it was from rain but then a week later i felt it and it was still wet. I stopped using the rear heat and AC to see if they had an issue but floor still wet after not using. Can someone please point me in the right direction of what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance!!!

There are a number of possible sources for water in the trunks such as the rear window, body seams and tail lights.

I believe the Sienna has rear ac. Could be the evaporator case drain is plugged up and the case is filling with condensate. The AC compressor will run in defrost mode.

If the case is draining properly and isn't the source of the water, remove the carpet and everything back there. Then have someone spray the van down with a water hose to see if you can find where the leak is coming from.
