2005 Honda Odyssey 104,500 miles There is definitely something wrong with my van, here are the symptoms. 1. The yellow VSA light comes on for no reason while I'm driving maybe once or twice per week. I stop the car, turn it off, then restart. The light does not turn on after this. 2. The parking brake light comes on for no reason. It's on for about 10 seconds, then turns off. We never use the parking brake. 3. When I open the tail gate for about a minute, all of the doors lock automatically. My wife says the doors lock too when the sliding doors are open for a while too. 4. On 3 different occasions since the fall, when I have left work the van's windows have been down about 3". 5. Finally, only one of the three Home Link buttons are able to be programmed. This has been a problem for a long time, longer than the other 4 symptoms. I don't know anything about cars, although I was thinking an electrical problem somewhere down the line could be the cause. I have not brought the car in for anyone to look at. I was hoping that someone here could give me an idea if any of these things could be related, and if so, what would a repair bill add up to?

You have a laundry list of problems. They may or may not be related, but it is going to have to be diagnosed. We can't give you any solutions or estimates until the cause(s) is figured out. If you were working on this yourself, we may give you some guidance in troubleshooting those problems, but since your not we could sit here and guess all day long and be totally wrong. Let the repair shop of your choice diagnose the problems and then give you an estimate for repair. Most shops start around 1 hour for diagnostic time. If you don't have a mechanic, ask friends and family who they use for repairing their vehicles. Make sure the shop is licensed and insured. If you are really critical, have them diagnose only one item on your list and see how they perform. I would start with the brake lamp since that could be a sign of worn brake linings or a brake fluid leak. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
