2005 chevy cobalt

i have a 2005 cobalt that i just had a motor put i was driving it for first time and it shut down,i tryed to re-start and it stayed cranked over after i let go of switch, but it still wont crank over ive heard maybe i have a security promblem can you help me with some clues what it could be.

Do you mean you just had a new engine installed? Take it back to the place that just did that is my suggestion,
