Can someone help me about this knocking sound happening from my car? It happens only when I take my foot off the gas. It doesn’t happen while I accelerate or break, but only when I slow down by taking the foot of the accelerator. I think it has something to do about some issues with suspension, not sure about it. There is this repair shop named link deleted ....... not allowed near my home, but I want to have a look before going to a repair shop. Can anyone give any advice here?

Noises can be tough to describe. This seems aggravated by shifts in load on engine changes so some likely things on the list to check are motor mounts, anything loose, exhaust system (all parts) high on list too. For that try just tapping on it w engine off with a rubber hammer back tail pipe to front you may find it duplicates the noise? I'd ask you to gently brake stand* this in place with a helper doing that while you look out of harms way but rather you let a tech do that or find this noise for now, T * To me means hold brakes hard and apply drive force shifting into forward then try again and reverse while NOT moving at all which puts loads on the drivetrain....
