i have a 2007 GMC Sierra 4x4 new body stylewith 4.8L motor. When in park at idle it idles at 700 rpm and has a little shake but u can barely feel it but its noticable and it goes away and comes and in drive the truck idles between 450-550 rpm and shakes sometimes too but not a hard shake is this normal or what? almost feels like its misfiring but no code is shown truck only has 60k miles

Rule out misfires and vacuum leaks. Do a scan for error codes even if the MIL is off. A scan is FREE at Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and O'Reilly Auto Parts so you have nothing to lose. If a code (or codes) are present, post them so we can see them. Replace the fuel filter if not recently replaced. Try a few applications of a product called (SEAFOAM) motor treatment. Ask for Seafoam by name in a good auto parts stores. It's an excellent product that works.
