2007 Hyundai Accent dashboard is blinking Sign In

2007
Hyundai
Accent
1.6L engine
212 000 km

Hi, I have an issue with the dashboard of my Hyundai Accent 2007. When I'm on DRIVE and not moving, the dashboard goes off and on again many times. When I'm moving, I have the same problem but its not as common as when I'm not moving. The blinking is harder when the engine is cold. When a blink occurs, there's a little vibration in the car. When I'm in NEUTRAL, the blinking stops. I just wanna fix this problem, but I'm having a hard tard to troubleshoot the source of this problem.

Thanks!

When you say the dashboard goes off, are you referring to the back lights for illumination or the warning lights or both?

Is this happening only at night?

If it only happens at night, check to see if your tail lights are also flashing.

Day and night. And I'm referring to the warning lights (for example the handbrake light). The dashboard lights turn on and off. All dials on the dashboard drop to zero and return to normal for approximately 1 second.

If you're losing everything all at once, first confirm the fuses are making good contact in the plug but about the only thing I could see doing this is the cluster itself but it does need further testing before condemning it.
