Hello everyone,
well very simply, I crashed my car back in January and I don't have the money right now to get it fixed or even to have someone look at it to tell me what is wrong with it... I ran over some bushes so there isn't really any exterior damage but its more so under the hood. I truthfully don't know the first thing about cars. . But I attached a picture of what the damage looks like. I was able to drive the car home after I ran over those bushes ( about 10 mines) but it was smoking the whole way home and after I turned it off. It was able to start for a few weeks after (you could tell it was strained though, making an odd noise) but since it's been sitting the battery is now dead. I'm really just trying to get an idea of what is wrong with it so I know what I'm going to have to save up roughly for the repairs. Any help is very appreciated thank you!

Attempt at a pic didn't work and probably not help much.

Have you even checked to see for yourself what could have possibly been smoking after this event? For all you know it was just brush on hot exhaust smoking away and unknown harm from not really any to who knows?

Playing a "Judge Judy" for a bit here. Have you offered to fix or replace the bushes on another's property yet and made out an accident report? Of course not as you don't have insurance at all or where you shouldn't have been?

So you've waited since January and now battery is dead which is no surprise but you should be tending to biz right away when something happens not this long out,

The first thing you need to do is check the oil level. I suspect you may have put a hole in the oil pan and driving it home would have destroyed the engine. You can't simply drive a car until it won't drive any further when you don't know what the problem is. You can make things much worse,

Yea I have been trying to upload a picture since last night but it won't work.. I do have insurance but there was an emergency and I needed to get home. I agree it wasn't smart driving it home and it probably did more damage.. I was told the fan was pushed into the radiator

Yes, not smart driving it home.. :( I've been told and it looks like the fan was pushed against the radiator. It still started and drove after the accident. And when I say "drove" I mean driving It from my driveway up to my garage it won't drive cause of the battery at this point

Just look for fan hitting radiator now. What fluid is way too low? It would be that one has the most trouble.

Pics - try a site like photobucket for pics if needed but I get the idea already.
Battery? Charge it now and see if it will crank at all or take it out and get it charged and tested - free at some parts outlets. Jumper box jump it - something to know more than what's known so far which isn't much.

Other possible: If you really broke the radiator and drove it 10 miles as said in first post with a typo that engine should still have glowed a check gauges light or warning of serious overheat. It might not even turn if seized and should know that now generally we suggest trying to turn an engine by the bolt on the crank pulley it shouldn't turn hard or be totally stuck,
