2009 Dodge Journey R/T EGR issues

I have a 2009 dodge journey r/t with v6 3.5L. I had error codes for egr valve and #1 fuel injector. Replaced egr valve and all 6 fuel injectors. Still getting error code P1404. The symptoms I'm having are surging/ jerking while driving at cruise and pinging in the engine. Any help would be great thanks.

Was the valve you replaced complete with transducer and solenoid?

Are you asking if the top/ plastic plug section and the lower half/piston section were there? Yes

OK, never mind. I looked it up and it's an electric valve.
Two things are possible. One is the EGR passage could be clogged with carbon or there could be a problem with the related wiring. You may have reached the limits of what you can do without a professional diagnosing it further.

That doesn't necessarily hit the right spot. There is a small passage that could be further in.
