Good morning! Last night when I was leaving work, my car started making a new sound. It's a high humming toward the front of the car. It hums when it's idle and when I'm driving speeds up to around 40mph. Once I'm going faster than that, it goes away. It also isn't noticeable at all outside of the car - I only really hear it when I'm in the car. This is a video of the sound: https://youtu.be/p0weIAH_v7M This is a picture of my oil stick (in case that's relevant?): http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/332Br3wL/1158.jpg It's a 2010 Toyota Corolla and I've never had a problem with it (knock on wood). Any ideas? Please and thank you!

That is most likely a bad bearing in one of the belt driven components. You should have a local tech listen to it to try to isolate the sound. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
