2012 Ford Focus-Steering Wheel Grinding noise

2012 Ford Focus - 25,000 miles
A loud grinding noise happens from the front when I turn the steering wheel. This noise even happens when the car is off and in park. Any ideas?

Before digging into this have you checked if this is under any warranty still? 25K isn't that much but on the line for some by age. Might just have electric PS? Can't target good info on it yet,
