2013 Dodge Journey RT, won’t Crank over

What could cause a 2013 Dodge Journey RT 3.6L AWD to one day be running fine no issues ever, to the gps starts by not working go to reset it by removing the negative terminal lead, when it’s reconnected the car will go through the process of starting but won’t, I can here a click inside of the car like a relay activating, but the starter does not try to crank at all. all the lights work except now the driver side light and passenger blinker stopped working as well. It has a new battery in it now to. Neutral start don’t work either I’ve even tried to jump it with no luck. Checked fuses even, the car also will say sometimes it’s not in park aswell. I was also told to remove both terminal leads directly from the battery and hold them together for a bit, which I left them off and touching for a couple hours. They did not touch any terminals on the battery, I was told that could reset the computer. I’m going to check the ground cables from the starter and alternator tomorrow as well. Any help would be great.

2013 model a new battery if original would be expected actually a while ago. Did the problems happen before that or from changing it? If you didn't charge new one first and have the car on "memory" saver you already lost all pre-set info and computer went brainless.
It's up to you to know any features this car has that automatically prevent it from starting aftermarket or from new may be at play?
Just because even if it speeds up pithing memory from items in the car don't touch battery terminals together! Just reset it with a code reader if you must lost memory just causes problems no telling what a dead short touching terminals can do!
Charge new batteries before installation and check that they are any good! Many are NOT they don't get a run thru before selling them and are NOT fully charged when you get it,

If the battery and connections are good, the next place to start is by doing a full system scan and looking at data pids that are important for it to crank.

Holding the cables together is acceptable and recommended. That uses up any power stored in capacitors in the system to truly clear the memory.
The whole point was clearing the memory without reading it first.

Understood. I just turn on headlights or something the uses power if I wanted it "pithed" but the Chrysler products always scare me,

The idea was not to short the system but to dissipate any additional stored charge to hopefully reset the computer. My understanding from researching this the last few nights seems to be a pretty common Chrysler issue, sigh. I just noticed a new symptom last night after posting this, my passenger taillight is now out aswell, I did not notice it befor but it more then likely happened when the other stuff did. I’m going to try and find a wiring diagram and trace them wire to there terminals and grounds. Hopefully it just ends up being a grounding issue.

You need to stop disconnecting batteries. No good comes of that. NOTHING needs to be reset to resolve a problem. In fact you can cause a few new ones that can be quite costly to resolve.
I don't know how you could possibly relate a starting issue to a tail light out.
If you ever stop disconnecting the battery long enough, you might be able to read some trouble codes.

There are no trouble codes and I have not disconnected the battery since I put a new one in, but apperantly these forums are more for criticism then help. Also with electrical and depending how the system is wired a bad ground or short somewhere can easily cause all these symptoms, I came on here in hopes of maybe someone had the same issue and it was something small or goofy because Chrysler is well known for crappy wiring.

No, Chrysler is not known for crappy wiring. You are listening to unknowledgeable car owners that are venting because that can't figure out their problems.
You aren't going to find people with the same problem here. This site is staffed with a very small number of professional technicians that help people for free.

Thanks that’s what I am trying now, I managed to fix the headlight and blinker issue that ended up being a bad wire to the fuse box, I went out and bought a auto wire tracer detector.
I noticed the starter solenoid engages when I first try to start it, but after the first attempt it’s like there not enough voltage going to it, so I got under the car today and also noticed that not only is my starter in a horrible location lol, but the terminal connected to the solenoid is corroded and green, so when it stops finally storming I will start by cleaning that and then tracer the wire back making sure there are no shorts or breaks.

Problem has been solved, after taking the starter out cleaning all the terminals, it ended up being the ground wire. Under the the electrical insulation where the wire is crimped to the contact, it was badly wired so I cut the wire and re crimped a new contact and it fixed the whole issue. The old contact look perfect almost new. Only reason I noticed it was because as I was holding the wire to reconnect it to the post it felt strange, like way to thin. This was not at the starter, it was at the main ground from the battery.
