I tried to use my windshield wiper fluid today and it is not working (coming out). I know NOTHING about cars but I took a guess that it might be a pump not working??? I called a nationally-known automotive repair shop and asked what the cost would be to fix it if that's the problem. They said that it would likely be somewhere around $250. He said that the part was not that expensive but the labor was costly. Can anyone tell me if $250 is a reasonable price? Anything else come to mind as to what could be causing the problem if not the pump? I do have fluid in the ww fluid tank! Wink Thanks!

The labor time is listed at .4 hr so yes, that seems excessive for less than 1/2 hr work.
