155k miles. 3.5. CEL came on, codes are 61-1, 83-1, P0344 and P0420. On my next trip after the CEL came on, the VSA and /!\ light came on. Then the engine started jerking real hard at around 30 mph. Next trip, CEL is still on but no VSA or /!\ light, and no problems. Next trip, CEL light is off for the first 5 minutes, then CEL, VSA and /!\ lights are all back on, and the jerking is back, between 20 and 30 mph. Next trip, just the CEL and no problems. These are all ~5 mile trips. My research says this could possibly all be a battery/voltage issue, but I know how that is. I did get a “new” optima battery a few months ago. Went to the store to have my Optima replaced under warranty (it was leaking from the terminal), and I’m pretty sure they just gave me a spare they had lying under the counter. Then I had to have a new alternator installed two months ago. Thank you in advance for your time and any insight you may have!

What year and model is your Honda or Acura? What is the charging system voltage when the problem is occurring? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Yikes, not sure how I managed to not put that info in. It’s a 2008 Pilot. I don’t have a clue about the voltage during the issue unfortunately.
