Hi Iam having troubles with clutch on truck. Its 350 with 3 on the tree. When i shift into 3rd it slipps. The clutch pedal has about 2inches of play and does not return all the way up. Is there a way i can adjust it so the clutch pedal does not stick.

You are supposed to have freeplay at the top which can be adjusted. With less than an inch or so the clutch will wear itself out while accellerating. Not quite sure what you mean by 'won't return all the way up?' If this clutch disengages right at the first tad of push you would adjust for more free play but the slipping like you describe is more like that of needing a new clutch. As they go this job is not all that hard or expensive. Are you apt to take this on yourself? T
