Thank you in advance! I was on the highway and smoke started pouring in from the passenger side. I pulled over and noticed this part (what is this part?!) had come off. Would that cause the smoke? After putting it back on and driving really hard I didn’t see anymore smoke. Checked my oil (good) and tranny fluid (good). I replaced the engine about 10,000 miles ago with an amazing mechanic. Any insight is greatly appreciated! https://imgur.com/gallery/nxBnbdH Edit: I am now also showing a code. 28 it says 3rd gear switch or (transmission) Fluid pressure switch assembly - open or short circuit problems. I have 1,300 miles to drive before I make it back to my mechanic. Am I safe enough to drive?

That's a relay for something, possibly the blower motor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
