'92 accord linkage Sign In

I have a 92 accord LX 2.2L auto. When I try to shift either into or out of park it is very very hard I almost have to jerk it with all I've got to get it to move. It seems a little more difficult when on a grade. Any ideas or should I say what is the best way to handle this situation?

Just a thought (watch out!) If you are on a fairly steep parking spot this could be normal but should be avoided. Put a car in neutral and pull parking brake till held still then go to park. The force on the transmission's parking paul can be nasty. That or lube up linkage or replace if that's not the case, T
