I deliver mail with a 92 Le Sabre. If the weather is warm(say 65 or above) my car will run fine until it heats up and then it starts cutting out. It seems like the warmer it is outside the worse it is. If it is cool it will run fine most of the day and maybe all day. When it starts cutting out it starts smelling like gas as well. I just put new plugs and wires on it and that didn't do it. It is definately related to tempurature but I wouldn't think that a temp sensor would cause the gas smell. Would temp effect injectors or fuel pump or filter? Any help?

If the temperature sensor is reading on the cold side, it will request the ECM to deliver more fuel. So yes, that is a possibility for your problem. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
