my radiator has water coming out of about a 1 inch hole on the inside lower left hand corner of the radiator it feels like something belongs in the hole to seal it but i never saw a radiator with this hole in it so i have no idea if it is a pressure relief or maybe where the draincock was and it blew out..thermostat was stuck when this happened with the thing blowing out and leaking..if anyone knows why this opening is in the radiator any help would be appreciated

If the hole is threaded you may be able to get a brass plug to screw into it. This should cure the leak and you will be able to use it for a drain plug. Steve
