hello all thanks for reading this im wasnt sure where else to put it if this is the wrong spot please buy all means have a mod move it to the correct spot... now on to my question. im having a boatload of trouble dealing with a 1993 for taurus 6 cyl 3.0 Im trying to replace the exaust pipe but i cant seem to install it over the rods that connect the tire to the bottom of the car its quite a tight fit i got the old one off pretty easy by using a hacksaw i have the rear of the car up on jackstands and im trying to munuver it into place but nothing seems to work it keeps not being able to get over those rods, sorry im not to knowledable about the names of the parts i think i was told that the part i am trying to replaice was called an intermediant pipe it connects to the muffler

tHE "FRONT" of exhaust is made pretty tough and frequently lasts the life of the car. Replacement parts might require some work. I think if you just get the whole car up higher you will be able to finagle that in without moving other parts. Names of exhaust from front to rear would be............ Exhaust pipe (single, H or Y pipe) Intermediate (if used) Cat conv. Extension (if used) Muffler(s) Resonater (if used) Tailpipe(s) Assorted heat shields, hangars as needed
