I have a 93 Tracer w/ 1.9 liter engine that started bogging down a few weeks back. Changed the fuel filter, plugs and wires and it was fine for a few days then it started again. Doesn't have enough power to go up hills and now makes a rattling sound when I accelerate. I have to start out in low gear lately. In park and nuetral it revs up fine and it turns over without a problem. It runs fine for the first few miles first thing in the morning but starts bogging down again when it starts to warm up. Any idea?

From what you are describing, and only by that, I would suspect a restriction in the exhaust system. It is possible a MAP/MAF sensor could cause it also. See if you can find the O2 sensor and take it out of the exhaust. Remove it completely and drive the car to see if it still does the same thing. If problem is gone, exhaust(probably converter) is starting to plug up. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
