THE 4WD WILL NOT ENGAGE. IT IS A NP233 TRANFER CASE. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION IS WORKING FINE. THE 4WD HI AND LOW LIGHTS DO NOT COME ON WHEN THE SWITCH IS PUSHED. THE SWITCH IS GOOD AND I GET 5 VOLTS TO THE TRANFER CASE ON 4 OF THE SEVEN WIRES. WHERE ELSE SHOULD I LOOK?

your problem is located under the batteery
there is a vacum actuted pump that locks the front axel in. coasts about 50 bucks and is an easy fix

Re: 94 S10 BLAZER NO 4WD Sign In

THANKS. I THOUGHT THAT MIGHT BE A PROBLEM BUT I CAN HEAR THE PUMP ACTIVATE WHEN I WAS ABLE TO GET THE TRANSFER CASE INTO 4WD. I WAS PLAYING WITH THE BUTTON AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER TO GET IT INTO 4WD. I HAD SOMEONE LOOK AT IT AND THEY BELIEVE THE SERVO ACTUATOR MOTOR IS NOT WORKING. I BEEN SICK WITH THE FLU AND I AM GETTING READY TO TACKLE THIS PROBLEM AGAIN.

There is also a vacuum switch on the side of the transmission. All it is is a ball that moves one way with vacuum and falls back without vacuum. These will hang up and cause no engagemnet. Cheap part too.
