I have a 95 Dodge Intrepid. Anytime I stop and accelerate the car hesitates, jerks and backfires. You have to push on the pedal and it hesitates and then finally pick up speed. It does it at certain speeds it does the jerking and backfiring. I put a new throttle position sensor on it, but it's still doing it. It is taking a lot of gas.
