Here is the information-----you decide if you can accomplish the task.

: Bearings that need to be replaced will be indicated by abnormal noise. Noise will occur if the bearing is dirty, worn or dry. The bearings are sealed and can not be cleaned or greased.

  1. Remove steering knuckle/wheel hub assembly.
  2. Remove snap ring.
  3. Position Bearing Puller Attachment tool No. D84L-1123A or equivalent between hub and wheel bearing, and Step Plate Adapter tool No. D80L-630-5 (part of D80L-630-A) or equivalent on wheel bearing. Use a press to press wheel bearing from hub.
  4. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
    1. Position Pinion Bearing Cup tool No. T80T-4000-E or equivalent, on wheel bearing and Dust Shield tool No. T87C-1175-B or equivalent, under hub. Use a press to press wheel bearing onto hub.
    2. Assemble steering knuckle/wheel hub assembly.
