my 97 blazer, when the temp. outside is more than 75 degrees, will stall out while driving. when its cold, its fine. it will usually start back up within 10 minutes but it sure is a pain when ur in a hurry. the fuel pump is working properly so i think im looking at a sensor malfunction. any advice on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated. thanx

I wouldn't necessarily rule out the fuel pump....
Gm did have a lot of fuel pump failures in these years when it was hot out....
They did come out with a better designed pump...
We towed in/replaced a lot of fuel pumps that the "vehicles stalled out while driving in warm/hot weather".

You will need to find out if it is an ignition (spark) or fuel failure.
What makes you say the fuel pump is working properly?
Have you had it tested when the failure occurs?
Any code(s)...stored...check engine light?

Let us know

the fuel pump maintains pressure and is still running while the vehicle is stalled. it seems to be in engine compartment because i can turn on the heater to cool the motor more and i can run longer periods of time between stalls
