98 Astro running rough

I have a 98 Astro RWD with 4.3 Vortec V6. It has 250,000 miles and is in good condition. Recently it has been running rough and kind of bucking and maybe missing. Also, something is causing it to mess with our TV reception when it is running. We have had a similar problem before(with it missing and running rough, not messing with TV reception, that's new) and it was the plug wires. They were melting in spots and causing it to arc. We have replaced the plug wires and the problem is still there this time. I know it needs oxygen sensors- could this be the problem? Could it be the distributor cap causing all this? I hate to spend the money on all of this if it's not the problem. Also, it is getting crappy gas mileage right now. 13-14 mpg instead of the normal 20 mpg. Thanks for the help. J. Russell

check your charging system/alternator/battery. bad alternator can interfere with your TV signal/radio. pop the distributor and look at the contacts to see if they are all there and not heavily worn/corroded. check to make sure the cap isnt cracked allowing mositure to build up. oxygen sensors probably would be the cause of bad fuel mileage but not likely the cause of the miss/rough running __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
