98 Tahoe Coolant Leak

Please help...After it gets warmed up, my 98 Tahoe leaks coolant somewhere near the starter motor??? It steams as it drips from the exhaust. I have traced all the hoses and none of them seem to be leaking. Is there anything else in this area that could be leaking and how hard of a fix will it be? Thanks for any suggestions.

There are lots of things that could be leaking. You will have to pressure test the cooling system and follow the leak to it's source. Possibilities are, freeze plugs in the side of the block, heater hoses, intake manifold gasket or coolant nipples on the intake manifold. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
