Acceleration Squeel

I have a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder, 5 speed. When I accelerate and the RPM's approach 3k, there is a nigh pitched squeal. The squeal continues until I shift. Once it approaches 3k again, the squeal comes back. Once in 5th gear I can't drive it above 60 mph or so or the squeal will continue unabated. I had the serpentine replaced two years ago and tightened last year. Any ideas? Thank you.

Inspect the belts. If they are glazed, they'll need replacement. If they look ok, you might want to check to see if they have enough tension again. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
