Just started my 2006 Ford Taurus and ABS, brake light, battery light, and check engine light came on. Thought it was the alternator but checked out OK. Tried both of my OBD II testers, but no communication to the PCM. Car runs but have noticed some hitching in the transmission. I checked all fuses and wires, they are fine. Do I have a bad PCM?

You're probably going to have to take it to a shop that has an enhanced scan tool to see if the PCM isn't the only thing that can't be communicated with. Troubleshooting network issues is beyond the scope of DIY.

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'm going to have to do that. Also saw that miles to E and my car miles are both blank, just hash marks.
