I have a 2005 Grand Prix that is leaking a good amount of coolant when the engine is warm. The leak is coming from the firewall, from a nozzle that is not connected to anything and doesn't look like any hoses around it are disconnected from it. From my research it is probably the evap valve from the heater core. I thought I had a heater core leak, but there is no signs of coolant inside the car and the hoses that go to the core are hot, and it does not smell like coolant through the vents. Thats telling me the heater core is not leaking but some other issue is happening around it. What would my next steps be on this? Thanks for the help

That is the AC condensation drain and Yes, you do have a heater core leaking. You will have to either replace the core or bypass it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
