This vehicle is not a daily driver , I start it up every 2-3 days . I bought a new battery from apna back in Feb. 2024 , 8 months later it needed a jump and I put the charger on it up to 100% . No trouble till last week after it sat for 3 days I put the charger on it before I started it and it was down to 30% , then it went to 65 % , Then the smart charger said it was a bad battery . I took it to apna and asked if I could get an up grade , better battery as it only runs every 2-3 days . My friend at the counter said that is a good battery , I asked if he had an interstate battery but they don't carry them and that spending extra won't produce " extra " results . There was warranty left on the old battery and I got a new one . Here's the thing , I don't want to dink around every year replacing a battery or having to put it on a tender , this is the 21st century What do you all think of this ? Thanks

It may be the 21st century but we are still using lead/acid batteries and they don't like not being used daily. You might also test for a parasitic drain if you know how. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

So be it , I don't think it has a serious drain on the batt. I'll just start it more frequently and give it a charge every 2 weeks or so as a maintenance schedule . Being retired we just don't drive a lot , thanks for the input
