Please Help. I believe my thermostat may need to be replaced but I cannot check it because I cannot get access to the bottom of the radiator in order to drain it. Does anyone know how to this? There seems to be a plate underneath the front of the car that can be removed but the bolts are just turning in place and not loosening. If I able to remove this plate will I be able to gain access to the radiator hose without jacking up the car? If not then I may have to take it to a garage. I have a 52 reg Citroen Berlingo HDI Thanks

You must be on the other side of the pond . Regardless , if you cannot access the drain valve ,try removing the lower hose. . Any hose lower than t-stat if removed will drain enough to change the t-stat. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH
