Bra blocks plates?

So when I received my car it had and still has a bra on it. I can't remove it because the front bumper was replaced before I got it, and never painted. My problem is that the bra is blocking the area to put my plates on the front. I wasn't sure how I could fix this other than just cutting at the bra? My other problem is that I believe the person who sold me the car removed the mounting bracket for that area so do I need to purchase a new one if its gone? If so how much does that cost? Thanks

After 38 years of marriage, my wife always gets upset when I cut her bra off. Women! Go figure. The license plate mounts are relatively inexpensive. You can get one at the dealer or look around a wrecking yard. Some states don't require a front plate, so it may have been sold new that way? Most bras are 'hooked' with elastic straps that have hooks that you should be able to disconnect so that you can raise the bra from the bottom, far enough to install the plate mount. Good luck.
