Brake issue Sign In

Need help!

Got a 2001 Acura TL with weird braking system issue.

My problem is that brake will hold up so tie that car can just barely move. But it only happens when I drive this car as 2nd time of day. For example, when I drive it to work, it runs fine all the way to my work place. Then, we I am coming back from at the end of day, it will start ok, then after couple stops at red light, I can start to hear some squeaky noise from brake when the start start running. After few more stops, I can feel the engine is running heavier ( brake is holding more tie now ), then eventually the brake gets lock up so tie that I can hardly drive. When it happened again tonight, I had to stop by the side of street for few seconds when engine turned off. Then restart the engine again to get the brake to loose a bit, so I can drive home ( I was just a mile away from home ). After I got back home, I can smell burnt from front wheel as soon as I step off the car, and the heat to the face when I get close to front wheel.

Just for your info, I have just changed both front wheel calipers without fix. Since after scanning I found a code related to tranny, I replaced both 3rd and 4th gear fluid pressure switches ( related to code ) ......... no fix as well.

Am I having ABS problem? I have no light on the dash board, and no code in ECU related to any brake issue. HELP!

Are both fronts locking up? How about the rear when the fronts are locked. Can you spin those?

What were the transmission codes?
