So here's a weird question. I have a 2005 Pontiac Aztek, and when I had the oil changed last week, the guy at the oil change place also replaced the cabin air filter, which is accessed through the glove box. What I didn't realize was that he apparently didn't put the cover back on the filter compartment properly. Later that day, I tossed a flash drive into the glove box, and now I can't find it. I think it fell into the compartment. I can't get my hand down in there, and I was unable to touch the bottom of the compartment with a pencil, so it's at least deeper than a pencil is long. My question is - where does that lead? How do I get to it? Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

I'm assuming you are referring to the cover at the back of the glove box and not the door to the filter.

If that is the case it fell all the way down to the under dash cover. If you look under the dash there should be a cover across the bottom of the dash that is easily removed. It may have push clips or it may have a couple of screws holding it on.

No problem. You should get back with the dealer to find out where your cover is.

I'm closing this now as solved.
