My car won't do anything when I try to start it. For a month when I tried to start it all the power would cut off when I turned the key to start. I'd have to disconnect the battery a once or twice a week when this would happen. Now a few lights cut off but nothing with the engine happens. I had a spare battery & hooked it up but same thing. What could be wrong? 06 Ford Crown Victoria PI 4.6L 140K

Have your battery tested first but it sounds like you have a poor connection somewhere. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
